The Contraptory turns trash to treasure by engineering lighting elements into found objects, vintage items, and 3D printed and laser cut parts to create one-of-a-kind pieces that look great both illuminated, or not.We also specialize in custom laser engraving and cutting for consumers and B2B customers.
The brainchild and sole imaginer and creator of The Contraptory is Mark McGregor, a Dayton, Ohio, native who now lives and works in Columbus, Ohio, with his wife, Stephanie, and her teenage son, Lucas.
