Note: While the radio can be tuned to radio stations, the item is being sold as a decorative lamp base, and not for listening. The key on the dial is not calibrated, and therefore does not point accurately to the numbers on the dial. The lighting bulb on the dial does illuminate when the radio volume knob is tuned to the "on" position. However there is an audible hum when on, even at the knob's lowest setting.
